Thank you for your interest in becoming a training provider for the Standards and Training for Corrections (STC) Division of the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC). Follow the steps below to complete the new provider process or submit a change of business name or ownership.


Step 1: Mandatory Training Requirement

Before completing any application, all prospective providers must complete the 30‑minute STC Training Providers Basic Course. This course explains your role and responsibilities as an STC training provider.

You will be required to upload your certificate of completion in the “Attachments” section of the application.

Please note, you do NOT need to complete the Provider Basic Course for a change of business name.

Step 2: Review of STC Policies and Procedures

All applicants must review the STC Policy and Procedure Manual for Training Providers prior to submitting any application.

By proceeding with the application process, you acknowledge and agree to follow all STC policies and procedures.

Step 3: Provider Application Forms

Select the appropriate form link below to complete and submit the application. Only submit a change of name or ownership application if you are an existing STC provider.

Use this form if you are applying to become a new STC certified training provider.

Use this form if your business is changing its legal business name.

Use this form if your business has changed ownership.


Application Review Timeline

Please allow 14 days for processing. Once your application is reviewed, an STC Field Representative will contact you to discuss the next steps.
