BSCC Seeks Members for RSAT ESC

SACRAMENTO (September 10, 2020) – The Board of State and Community Corrections is seeking people with experience in issues surrounding substance-use disorder to help set requirements for a federal grant that will fund treatment programs in local jails.

The Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program assists states and local governments in designing and implementing substance-use disorder treatment programs in detention facilities. It is funded through the federal Bureau of Justice Assistance.

People interested in serving on the Executive Steering Committee that will write the Request for Proposals can submit statements of interest by clicking here and following the directions, or by writing to Colleen Stoner at 2590 Venture Oaks Way, Suite 200, Sacramento, CA 95834. Membership will be developed by taking into consideration subject-matter expertise, geography and diversity.
