NOTICE OF MODIFICATIONS TO TEXT OF PROPOSED REGULATIONS AND
ADDITION OF DOCUMENT TO THE RULEMAKING FILE

A Notice of Proposed Action outlining proposed changes to Title 15, Division 1, Chapter 1, Subchapters 1 and 4 of the California Code of Regulations, was published by the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) in the California Notice Register on May 31, 2024.

Following OAL’s review of the originally proposed changes, Title 15, Division 1, Chapter 1, Subchapter 1, section 184 was approved and will become effective January 1, 2025. The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) is proposing further modifications to Title 15, Division 1, Chapter 1, Subchapter 4, section 1028, and in accordance with the California Administrative Procedure Act, a 15-day public comment period has been scheduled.

The 15-day public comment period begins on October 28, 2024, regarding the proposed modifications and addition of document to the rulemaking file. All comments must be received by the BSCC by November 12, 2024.

Written comments pertaining to the Modified Text of the Regulations or the Supplement to the Initial Statement of Reasons may be transmitted by mail, e-mail, or fax to the contact person(s) listed below. Only comments pertaining to the modified text or the Supplement to the Initial Statement of Reasons will be considered by the BSCC.
