SACRAMENTO (January 30, 2026) - The Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) will hold a virtual public hearing in accordance with Government Code section 11346.8. During the public hearing, any interested person or his or her duly authorized representative may present statements, arguments, or contentions, orally or in writing, relevant to the proposed action noticed on December 19, 2025. The notice documents are available at Notice of Proposed Action – Corrective Action Plan.

The date, time, and location of the public hearing is as follows:

Oral and written comments will be accepted during the scheduled hearing. The BSCC may impose reasonable limitations on oral comments and, therefore, requests, but does not require, that persons who make oral comments also submit a written copy of their testimony during the hearing. Written comments may be submitted by email to regulations@bscc.ca.gov or to the BSCC mailbox located at 2590 Venture Oaks Way, Suite 200, Sacramento, CA 95833 between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM; please address written comments to Amanda Ferreira or clearly identify that the written comment is a submission for the public hearing.

The BSCC will not respond to comments at this hearing, nor will the BSCC engage in a discussion about regulations at this hearing, other than to seek clarification of comments presented, if necessary. The BSCC will respond to all comments in writing in the Final Statement of Reasons.
