Local Jail Construction Financing Program (AB 900)
On May 3, 2007, the Public Safety and Offender Rehabilitation Services Act of 2007 (also known and referred to as AB 900), became law. Up to $1.2 billion (in two phases) was authorized in lease-revenue bond financing for county jail construction. AB 900 Legislation
