Join Us for a Listening Session Monday, March 2, 2026
The BSCC In-Custody Death Review Division (ICDR) invites community members to participate in an upcoming listening session to learn more about the Division’s work and to share feedback, perspectives, and experiences with ICDR leadership and special guest, BSCC Board Member Dr. Gena Castro-Rodriguez.
Dr. Castro-Rodriguez is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, educator, and thought leader with over 30 years of experience in mental health and trauma‑informed care. She has held multiple leadership roles in victim services and trauma recovery and now serves as an Associate Professor at the University of San Francisco.
Questions, comments, or feedback before, during, or after the listening session may be submitted to icdrpublic@bscc.ca.gov. The session will be held virtually via Zoom and will be recorded. Details are listed below.
